Stony Brook.... anything recent?

I interviewed in Stony Brook back on their first days of interviews back in September. Everytime I call they tell me to be patient....


Has anyone been rejected? Heard anything????

From what I know they don't reject anyone who gets an interview until the cycle is over. You will probably get a letter asking you if you would like to be on the waitlist in a few weeks.

I called them yesterday and they said that its gonna be about 2 weeks till they send it out via snail-mail. frustrating especially since i interviewed in december and know that the best news possible is wait-list...(fingers crossed)...

Are you guys sure they won't be mailing out any acceptances? I dont think they're class is full alreadyy. I know someone who interviewed a couple of weeks ago and they told them that there are 9 seats open.

well from last cycle it looks like some people got off the waitlist relatively late in the year so maybe its more like

They just mailed out the info packets for accepted students. I don't know how many seats are open but I'd imagine not too many if they sent them out. But like always, the fat lady doesn't sing until the first day of class.

The school interviews through march, perhaps they are waiting to finish with interviews before giving y'all news about your status.
