Stony Brook interview?

Hey everyone! stony brook is my first choice of dental school. I know they call to tell you about an interview but I was wondering if they call everyone the same day or if they do staggered phone calls? Basically I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a chance I can still get a pre-december interview? Thanks so much in advance!

Hey stony brook is also my #1 school! and my interview is this friday (omg tomorrow nervous ). i received a phone call last week and they had dates available just a few days after in october...so I am sure their november is not even booked yet and that you have a great chance of getting an interview soon. My friend also got an interview call a few hours (or next day) after mine so I am sure the calls are staggered as well.

Thanks! I hope to be there in september too and see you there. However, I thought the interview was OK...it was def not my best interview =/. You have two interviews for future reference right after each other and I thought one went well but the other was completely weird...and off (I was repeatedly asked if I had anymore questions about the school and was running out of questions?) and neither of the interviewers took notes or anything...so I dunno how it'll work but heres to hoping for the both of us

I think you still have hope...I got a call today for a Stony interview and it's the first time I've heard from them since my "app complete" email in Sept.! 🙂

I recently received a post Dec-1 invite to Stony Brook. I was wondering if anyone could share their interview experiences. Also, the invite mentions "interviews with our faculty;" Does this mean there's more than one interview during the day?

I answered this in my post above already 🙂 "You have two interviews for future reference right after each other" So ya...you have two interviews one after another, and all the interviews were extremely nice! BUT I had this one guy who was really weird and would interrupt me while I was talking (in a nice polite way though) and make comments and then asked me my "opinion" on things and he repeated some questions a few times....but it was weird because he did all this like he was talking to you like he was your best friend. My second interview was general and regular and was good. So you just have to watch who you get!, but in general they are all conversational and laid back (none took notes or anything). So...Good luck!!!👍
