So after checking my AACOMAS profile, my official GPA from my undergrad insitution (which doesn't include transfer credit, and was fairly competitive) took a nose-dive after AACOMCAS decided to factor in my grades from my dismal semester abraod at the University of Melbourne...
This is the GPA thats being sent to the COMs I applied to! Serisously though, who really tries to get top marks when they're studying abroad...especially in such a travel-friendly place like Australia. Plus, the exam and grading systems are so much different than whats done in the states, I just didn't do well, but was never worried until now...
Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, how did you address it to adcom's; that is, explaining poor grades while abroad or at any other institution for that matter? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.
