I received an email Nov, 1st stating AZPOD received my application and another email on the 12th saying everything has been received for my application. Barry emailed me on Nov. 1st saying they would contact me by mid November. Well it's mid November and I haven't heard anything and I am stressing. Does anyone have any insight on these two schools. I did read a post from around 2007 saying AZPOD is usually really busy and closed for Thanksgiving break for an extended period of time...

I would recommend calling the AZPod admissions office. It's possible that your application may not be complete (letters may not have arrived, MCAT score delayed, etc.) so you should follow up on that. If you're certain that everything was delivered in a timely manner, then insist they look again. Things get shuffled around from time to time, especially when the admissions office represents ALL of the programs at Midwestern, not just podiatry. If you don't think that you're getting the help you need, then ask for an email/phone number of somebody in the podiatry department who can help. That would be the best way to get answers in my opinion.

And yes, students are on break this week and all of next week. Faculty and staff are still on campus, however, so you should be able to get in touch with the people you need.

Good luck!
