Hey guys,

So the stroke volume = end diastolic volume - end systolic volume.

In that equation, what does the end mean?😛

Thanks for any help!

The left ventricle of the heart is filled to its maximum volume at the end of diastole whereas the end of systole once the left ventricle has contracted its volume is at its lowest.

Hope this helps.
