I was wondering... what structures do we have to memorize for the Organic section. I mean the thing is that there are a lot of standard structures like toluene, aniline and phenols. Should I memorize these?

Also should I follow along with a textbook because the thing is that I am having a lot of difficulty understanding this Kaplan Blue Book. Its just different from the textbook we used (its by L.G. Wade).

Regarding the aromatic compounds, make sure you know the most popular ones, those being: benzene, tolune, aniline, phenol, napthalene, anthracene.

You may need to know TNT (trinitrotoluene).

Know glucose, fructose, galactose, maltose (how it's linked), lactose, and sucrose.

Use the textbook as a reference unless you know nothing about Orgo. That seems to be the case for me right now. I can't believe I have forgotten so much! 🙁
