Struggling with the DAT

I have a 3.6 GPA and 3.5 Science, North Dakota resident. I am taking the DAT June 6th and I am scoring 17s or lower on most of my practice tests. which, makes me feel pretty stupid when I see people on here post solid 20 plus scores on the DAT(you guys are amazing!). I have good extracurriculars, a lot of hours shadowing, leader of an on campus volunteer organization, and I did scientific research. Also I took a Dental School Summer Experience class last summer.

My question is, Is it realistic of me to expect to even get an intreview with 16s or 17s on my DAT? I can't postpone this test date do to work conflicts... so am I basically setting myself up for a retake in early September?

YES - you have so much time to bring up that score!! You have to think positive, and remember that you WILL test better on the actual day. Don't be deterred from what you read on this website lol -- people are crazy achievers on here, and some people have even told me they write posts to screw w/people's minds 😡

You can do SO MUCH in 2 weeks; use Chad's videos/quizzes for gchem + orgo -- guaranteed to bring up those scores.
