If you elect to stay with a student host during an interview, when can you expect to hear from them about where to meet them (airport/campus/their place), what to bring, etc.? I am supposed to be staying with a host for my September 13th interview, and I still haven't heard from them, so I'm starting to get a bit anxious. Thanks!

I haven't heard from mine either for KCUMB. I think it said you would get an e-mail from them about a week in advance. If I haven't heard by next Thursday, I will try to contact someone.

They might do it, kudos to them if they do, but I wouldn't plan to have someone pick you up at the airport... plan to rent a car or get a taxi, and if you don't have to, you'll be plesently surprised.

Just to let you know DMB, my host got a hold of me last night. She seems super friendly.

For KCUMB, don't forget to contact the office 7 days prior to the stay.

Thanks for the update, t-funk. I still haven't heard anything, I'm starting to worry.

Jpc, why are we supposed to contact the office? Should I just email the admissions office and be like, "Hey, don't forget I'll be there next week!" or something? Hahaha that's a joke.. but seriously. What are you referring to, because I just re-read my letter from them and didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it.

For KCUMB...

You didn't get a "RETURN CONFIRMATION TO: KCUMB-COM" sheet with your packet? If you check student host, it said to contact the admissions office 7 days in advanced.

I did get that, but I sent it in a long time ago, so I forgot about that. Did it say how to contact them? Thanks for your help!

No. It doesn't state a preference. On the top, it has 1-800-234-4847 though.
