i paid off my student loan in full over a week ago, but i have not received any letter in the mail to confirm or declare that it has been paid in full. does anyone know if they will send any letter of confirmation?

One week really isn't a long enough time. Try to log into the website and send an email asking for a "loan satisfaction" letter.

Sallie Mae and nelnet sent me letters about 1 month after I paid them off. But I don't think a letter is even necessary anyway. As long as the balance is 0, and they don't have a few cents of interest or anything left, then it should be fine.
