Student Loans for Non Accedited Schools?

I have heard different things about this topic. Can a student received federal loans for non-accredited schools. The COP I will be attending has a CANDIDATE STATUS currently. They should be getting accredited next year after their first class graduates in Fall 2012. But I will be attending in Fall 2011, so can I still get federal loans? Thanks
