Hello
so I sat for my step 1 exam on the 24th of march and I still haven't received my score yet. I emailed the ecfmg weeks ago they told me about a verification of credentials which was sent to my university, which should be signed and sent back to ECFMG. This step was done and ECFMG told me they received it on April 8th (called them on the 16th, one day after the one I was expecting my score on). My friend had a delay too so he called today asking for the reason. It appears that he had the same problem and since the paper reached the ECFMG the operator sent a manual request to release the score. He asked if each and everyone of his friends with the same problem should call and ask for a release she said YES! So I called to see if it had been done last week automatically when the guy told me they received mine and it got processed, the operator told me I've just sent a request to release your score. He doesnt know when this thing is gonna happen (it is processed in a different department). He told me to give it an extra week or two!!!
My question is: aren't these requests done automatically when the paper is processed? When should we expect our scores now that a request was sent? Is it true that in case of delays scores are released on days other than wednesday? (Monday, tuesday, etc)
