I really really want to study abroad this summer, but I was planning on taking physics over the summer. Most of the programs I'm applying to don't require being done with pre-reqs by application time, but having only 1 or less left by spring semester before matriculation. What is your opinion on studying abroad over the summer and leaving physics for my last two semesters of college?

I waited to take physics until my senior year and did not have any issues getting into PT school. As long as those are the only two courses left to take, I say study abroad. However, be aware that you will not have time to retake the classes if you would need to!

If the two semesters of physics are the only two pre-reqs you have left, I doubt it will be an issue. How is your pre-req GPA looking at this point?

If it's >3.6 I'd say you have absolutely nothing to worry about. And the study abroad is at least something you can put on your app as an EC activity. Won't make a big difference in admissions either way I'd say. And if it's something you really want to do badly, then you will regret it if you don't.
