I was wondering if the material in the Kaplan MCAT for g-chem, o-chem, and bio is similar to the Kaplan DAT book? And if i studied out of the Kaplan MCAT will it be just as good as studying out of the DAT book?

I just got the Kaplan MCAT for free and am real tight for cash right now and dot want to shell out 65 bucks for a new DAT book..

Sure, if anything you'll know too much as the scope for the MCAT is a bit broader than the scope for the DAT.

The MCAT book can certainly do a great job of getting you prepped in those basic science areas.
