Hi,

I always have the impression that Canadians studying dentistry in US will definitely be able to practice in Canada, but I recently heard that successful completion of the program (general dentist) in some US school do not enable the students to practice anywhere else except for US. Is this true? If so, how do we know which schools have the policy?

Thanks in advance!

No it is not true, the ADA and the CDA have a reciprocity agreement, so you would just have to write the Canadian board and licensing exams to practice in Canada. You won't have a problem if you get your dmd/dds in the states.
