Reading through past years forum motivated me to start a study log for the NBDE part 1 I will be taking this year. I hope with this forum, we can help motivate one another to get through studying for the board as well. Goodluck all!

Read through dental decks one time, look at the head and neck section in Netter's anatomy one time.

Good to go 👍

I recommends checking out the YouTube videos on 300 Dental Anatomy Facts. Free and helpful supplemental material for preparing for the board. If you are a visual and auditory learners, this is another strategy sure to help.

1. Get iPhone/iPad app
2. Get good at the 1,000 or so questions, and the little tricks it says
3. Profit

I studied probably for 3 weeks maybe averaging an hour or two a day and just did this, I knew most of the questions and think I pretty easily passed . Remember the test has like a 95% pass rate so just don't be in the bottom 5%. If you take the boards and feel like you knew around half the questions you probably did fine. Also know the basic nerves and pathways of the head and neck you learned in gross anatomy
