By way of introduction, my name is Eva Ponder. I am a doctoral student in psychology, and I am conducting research for my dissertation. I am looking for people who have one or more close relationships online who would be willing to participate in this study. It is my hope that I could gain a better understanding of friendships and close relationships that develop over the internet, and by way of my appreciation for your participation, you would be entered in the drawing described below.
Your participation is strictly voluntary, and you may refuse to participate or discontinue participation at any time The survey should take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Youre welcome to contact me at any time at [email protected] if you have questions about the survey.
If you decide to fill out the survey, your feedback will provide invaluable information about relationships on the internet.
Any and all information we receive will be kept strictly confidential and will only be seen by myself or my academic advisers. Data gathered from the survey will be summarized in the aggregate, excluding all references to any individual responses. The aggregated results of my analysis will be published in my dissertation.
When you complete the survey, you will be eligible to enter a drawing for a $50 gift card good at a large number of merchants. Your chances of winning in the drawing will be equal to or greater than one in fifty.
