Hello
Im dr alkhade from Palestine finished my bds (bachler od dental surgery in 2006)want to apply for lincensure in usa?i know it is difficult but bi have to struggle for it….
I have 2 question
1)I sent my papers for ece recently they consider me in report that I complet 4 years in dental program…so is this equal to dds or mds in usa ???/
2)can iwork as adental assistance or dental hyginest there withdoing some attachment with some dentist in usa?

sends u their report which says tht ur degree is equivalent to 4yrs of dental skool studies in a forgein country but it doesnt mean its equal to DDS as american law requires u to complete their requirements before u can practice as a dentist in usa
and for that u have to take ur nbde 1 then u have to go to dental skool again so in summary there is no short cut my friend.
And u can volunteer at a dental clinic but most of the clinics require a certification for assisting but i guess if u r at a clinic n the dentist is satisfied with ur work he might give u the job
my adv will b this tht if u wana practice as a dentist then first take ur exam n then try for assisting
