I take the test next Thursday, so I have a week left. I took NBME 2 today and only scored a 211, which I am definitely disappointed with, and I am currently averaging about 64% on QBank w/ 700 or so questions left. My goal for this thing is to at least break 220 and would be completely satisfied to break 230. So what is the best strategy with 1 week left to accomplish this (or is it even possible)?
My thoughts were first of all, only stick to FA and QBank, unless I just feel really deficient in one area, then I might go back and re-read that part in BRS. So I figured tommorrow through Sunday, I'd do 3-4 sets of random QBank in the morning. I'd follow this with a review of FA pharm and certain aspects of biochem and micro (I feel that these three are my weakest) every afternoon. Then, I'll review any other subjects that I don't do so well on on QBank that day. Finish up each day before I go to sleep by doing some rapid review/images from FA.
On Monday, take NBME 3 in the morning, review accordingly that evening. Tuesday, QBank in the morning, review deficiencies in the afternoon. Wednesday (day before test), make one more quick pass through pharm and certain parts of bio/micro, review some small stuff like embryo, biostats, behavioral, etc.
Thoughts?? Sound like a good plan?? Anything I need to do different?? Is is possible for me to break 220 or even 230??? Thanks in advance.....
