Is it better to study the same subject for a while (a week straight or something). Or better to alternate subjects everyday or so?

My inclination is to switch it up every day.

Your thoughts?

Most everyone says to switch it up but I can't do that. Right now I'm diggin into biology.. but I get obsessed with learning each and every detail so throwing chemistry into the mix would mess me up. I think most people just skim through the key points and move on which is probably the best thing to do anyways.

Now I don't mix the sciences together.. but I do throw in PAT with my biology right now. My day starts out with a 1 hr review of previously learned biology material followed by a good many hours studying new biology stuff. If at any time I feel burned out on a current subject, I pop up crackPAT and do some excercises. If you haven't invested in that already be sure to do so if possible. Good luck on the DAT!

I tend to alternate subjects so I don't get burned out or overwhelmed. So for one or two days I'll do organic, then switch to biology for a little, then on to something else.
That's just what I'm comfortable with. The first time I took the DAT I tried to slam down one subject a week and ended up messing myself up with remembering details later on down the road, so I had to go back and re-read notes a lot more often than I should have.
