First off, thanks so much to everyone for posting replies to previous postings. I love SDN

Ok. So I plan on taking the DAT before the Fall semester begins in August (somewhere between 10-12 weeks away). I am signed up for the Kaplan course that starts June 6th. The problem I am experiencing is that i dont know where to begin studying! Truthfully, i was counting on the Kaplan to give me some good study guidelines. So, I have approx 1 month before the course begins. I have Crack DAT, Cliff's AP Bio, and DAT destroyer on the way as well as the Kaplan large review notes and lesson book. I do have a good science background (All A's) but it doesnt mean i know it all!

Where should I begin?

Are there any another materials that I should purchase that would be beneficial?

Thank You!!!!

If your the type of person that finds it hard to maintain a strict study routine and needs a set schedule, then you should check out the 8 week study program that is on here. I am on week 3 and it seems to be working pretty well for me so far. As far as materials, you are probably good with what you have, but you might want to try Chad's videos and get TopScore or Achiever to have practice tests. Hope this helps.

Since you are signed up for a review course, they should tell you where to start and you really should be good with just waiting until then. However, if you want to get a little bit of a head start I would suggest just studying lightly so you don't get burnt out. Go ahead and buy any extra stuff you think you will need so you have it there for when your course starts. I would suggest getting CDP, Cliffs Bio and Destroyer. I would probably just go ahead and read through Cliffs so that you are refreshed on bio since that is the broadest subject. Also, you can start practicing CDP probably and still have enough to manage to stretch it out until your exam date. If you do CDP though, Kaplan is going to seem really really easy. Good luck!
