I took a practice MCAT a few weeks ago and my physical and biological science scores were very good. However, my verbal reasoning score was a very well below average. English is not my first language and I heard that this section can be difficult for those who have another first language.

Does anyone have any helpful tips?

The verbal section is difficult for almost anyone, regardless of their first language. I can see how it'd be even more difficult if English isn't your first language, but I digress...

Practice! That's the best advice I can give. You'll see some improvements over the course of a few months if you practice reading speed and comprehension consistently.
