Hello everybody,
I would like to ask you to give me your ideas about how I am studying for DAT exam. I am planning to take it in April.
Since I work full time I don't have that much time to study for this exam. But I started a few months ago. I went through all Chad's General Chemistry and not all of the Organic Chemistry videos. I started Cliff's AP Biology and some how was skipping some parts. What I am doing right now and I would like to know your ideas especially from the students who have taken this test is that I go through all the DAT Destroyer questions and take some notes. I would like to review my notes and after that start taking DAT Bootcamp tests.
Please let me know if this will work for me.

Thanks,

For all of your sciences, I would literally just spend most if not all on the destroyers. Do them as many times as you can. You will do well if you knew the destroyers inside out. And to clarify things up, you can use Campbell for biol and chads for chem and orgo.

Good luck! 🙂

I think what you're doing is a great idea. Take notes from the destroyer and any questions that you have google them or look them up in Campbells bio, Klein, and Cliffs. Destroyer has really honed in on the topics and really prepares you for whatever should come your way, there are many different versions of the DAT. As for timed test, I really didn't feel it helped me , so personally I would spend more time studying and less on timing yourself. If you know the material time shouldn't be an issue. I found the Destroyer must helpful in preparing me.

Thanks for your responses. How about GC and OC of Destroyer? IS it helpful to take notes of those too? I feel that Chad's videos are excellent

DAT bootcamp is very much like the acual exam itself in terms of difficulty. Chad's videos are a must use, just look through the videos 2-3 times and practice, practice, practice the orgo and gen chem problems. another tip: much of the DAT tests concepts especially for the orgo section so be sure to know that.
