I know it's still a little early to start studying for boards, but I'd really like to do well. (Doesn't everybody?) I've received a comprehensive list of what boards materials to use (i.e. decks, kaplan, BRS, etc.) but I'm not sure exactly where to start. I'm hoping for some good suggestions as to:
1) where to start
2) timing/pacing for this whole deal so I'm not totally burnt out by July
3) any other tips and strategies that could prove to be useful
Thanks so much for your time!

dental decks and past exams...that's it
been hearing about some other flashcards named stax but also heard there are many, many incorrect answers...

Hello,
I am preparing for the NBDE part I as well. I was wondering if you bought the dental decks. If you did, please could you tell me how much is it's weight?
I need to pay for the shipping to get them but I need the weight.
Thanks

Does anyone know of a good CHEAP source to buy part 1 study materials. Used books are also fine. Thanks

evamm,

I just bought some decks from a third year student and I just weighed them in at 5.5 pounds of fun.

I just wonder what material you guys used to prepare for Pathology? Thanks.

It's easiest to actually prepare when you are in your path class at school. For review use the Decks, and the USMLE First Aid Step 1 book has some things that may or may not be helpful with NBDE I path/micro.

I have the old decks (2002?) and a ton of old tests that I'm looking to get rid of. If you want them on the cheap, send me a PM. I did very well, and that is all that I used. Decks for path is the way to go. Our path classes were worthless and I had to teach myself everything, it's all about the decks!
