Hi all, I'm considering postponing my step 2ck but I will be stuck with studying for it during my medicine sub-I and taking it right after the sub-I. Does anyone any experience studying for Step 2CK while on a rotation? Is it feasible and realistic? Any advice and things to consider?

THX all.

Feasible but a struggle. If there was any alternative, I wouldn't do it, but C'est la vie. Advice: if you must, keep your head down, stay postivie, and plough through. I'm in the same boat.

I did this. Took CK during psychiatry in mid-June. It was a pretty easy rotation though. I had done above average on step 1 & my shelf exams, did all of uworld throughout third year, and read MTB2 twice in the 2.5 weeks leading up to the exam. A medicine sub-I should actually be helpful review. If you have the time/energy to do review in the evenings/weekends, there's no reason you NEED to postpone your exam.

Just make sure to study vaccine schedules and screening guidelines. That's a big focus now.
