Studying for the DAT

Hello,

Out of all the study guides out there: Crack DAT, DAT Destroyer, etc.... what do you all suggest is the best that helps you prepare for the exam. I am also wondering if I should purchase it now because I am not taking it for another two summers, but I wanted to get a head start and study what I can right now.

Any suggestions would be helpful 😀

Hey, to be honest, most studying now will probably not be very useful. However, what I would suggest studying, is probably the PAT where practice helps and also maybe just general reading comprehension. These are things where you really just need practice compared to chem, bio and math where you really just need to memorize some facts and concepts.

How long do you think it will take to study for the DAT? I am hoping to send in my DAT application by tonight so I guess earliest I can write is 60 days from now? Also, can anyone tell me if it will be too late for me to apply if I write the DAT by the end of August? My cGPA is 3.79 and science is higher around 3.84 I think.
So if I do the DAT by end of august, I'll get the official scores probably by end of september and that is when my application will be complete, would that put me at a disadvantage?
