I'm trying to make the best study plan, and so far I've been studying 1 subject (using solely EK books and their audio osmosis). I came across their 10 week study plan, however, and they recommend studying subjects together/alternating.

Is their a good reason for this? What have you all found to work best?

I think my studying is not going as good as it could be!

Hey there fellow EK brother, haha. As someone who's been doing EK for about a month and a half now, let me say, I'd follow the Home study plan. I tried doing one subject at a time and it's grueling. Also, you have subjects in other books that the book builds on (Chem chapter 7 builds alot off of the Biology concepts). I'm doing the 10 week guide, but try whichever, I'll just warn you, I got very burnt out on doing one book at a time. Let me know how it goes. When are you testing?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to take the test in April.

So far I have only studied one at a time. I'm looking for something that can make things sit in my mind better. I feel like once I study something, it's just not lasting very long, and I will need to review AGAIN!

I studied one SECTION at a time... like one week, on MWF, I'd study "physical sciences" - meaning both chemistry and physics or biological sciences (ochem and bio).

Breaking up my two toughest subjects - ochem and physics - seemed to help me.

I would suggest Audio Osmosis from EK, it's a great tag-along with the book, plus it's get to assist so you read it, write it and hear it. I'm a visual learner, but auditory helps me alot as well.

I see. I could have been more clear as to what a section was to me. Coming from my EK point of view, each section was Verbal, Bio, G Chem, Physics, and O Chem. So I have been studying one of those books start to finish before moving on.

I think it depends on your personal learning style. I did each subject separately to begin with (my first run through of content review) and then started to mishmash them together as my content review went on.

I would alternate among subjects. I mean you could study one subject, complete it, and then move on. But you could also forget a lot of it when you are studying for another subject. I studied all at once and it worked for me.
