Studying for the OATs

I purchased a Kaplan book for $25 that has 2 practice tests (full) and 2 practice sections for each of the 4 subjects. I'm doing them and reading why I got certain questions wrong, and covering those topics by reading the respective text or looking the topics up online. How do you guys study for the OATs most effectively?

I also used the blue kaplan book, but I saved it for the very end, right before the actual OAT.
Study the materials with review books first, and do the practice later.
Practicing without knowing the material won't help a lot.
Plus, the kaplan book is much harder than the actual test.
So just use it to practice and speed up.
