Can you guys share how you prepped for the Reading Comprehension and PAT part of the exam? I'm not the best at these two sections and want to critique it every way I can to get a good score.

If you've already got a hang of the types of PAT problems then I would suggest doing sets of problems from the generators on bootcamp daily. In the beginning I was the same, I would end up only doing 3/4 of the exams thinking how the heck am I supposed to do this, but now I finish with like 3 mins to spare (this is within a month of practicing). Make sure you watch some tutorials on holepunching.

Start PAT studying early, and give yourself a lot of time to do each question when you start off. Initially, I allowed myself 30 min to answer each 15 question section. There is a huge, huge, learning curve for PAT, but I assure you it will all come together eventually. Bootcamp and Crack DAT PAT are the two resources I used for practice questions.

For PAT I would suggest crackdatpat and boot camp. The name of the game for PAT is understanding the rules and figuring out the tricks. If you have those two down then repetition will bring you a good score. For reading, I just read one article from scientific american everyday for two months and the test was very similar to boot camp. The name of the game for RC I think is having experience with what TYPE of questions will be asked.

The way I approached RC was to actually be interested in the passage. Instead of trying to search and destroy, I would try to learn something from the passage. I find that I can memorize more when I'm actually interested in whatever I'm reading. Hope that helps!
