So I delayed Step one until after third year because I needed the reinforcement from clinical rotations to help with mastering the content. Planning on Step 2 June 30th and Step 1 at the end of July. Has anyone done this? If I start Step 2 UW today, I’d need to do 67 questions daily to make 2 passes through it. Also reading step up to medicine and FA Step 2. That doesn’t leave much time for Step 1 studying except for 4 weeks post Step 2. Any thoughts on incorporating Step 1 review into Step 2 studying?

I didn't know this was possible and I'm not convinced you did yourself any favors by doing it; on the other hand, it may be genius, we make millions of connections in 3rd year and that experience has to equal points. Having said this, I'm concerned you'll balance your study efforts between these two tests and neither will get the attention they deserve. Worse, you may burn yourself out studying for step 2 causing step 1 to suffer. I don't envy your dilemma, my only advice would be to avoid the two potential problems I've mentioned.

Is step up to medicine enough for step 2? I really like that book as well as step up to surgery and use it all the time but it feels somewhat lightweight
