I know this is a really stupid question, but is it possible to just major in music and still make it to med school? one of my friends asked me if this is possible and idk what to tell her.

As long as you do all the premed requirements and take the MCATs, it is possible to get into medical school.

In fact, I know a pathologist who majored in music.

not a problem to major in a non-science. just take the pre-reqs and the MCAT and you're OK. just realize many of your classmates will have a science background; however after the first few weeks it all evens out i think.

It would be very hard to fit in all the pre-med requirements and graduate in 4 years (if not impossible) if your friend wanted a B.M. degree, but a B.A. in music is perfectly doable. 👍

anything is possible

your friend has to go through all the same stuff all of us did

in fact music major may get her a ""ohhoohhhh really ... that is interesting"" on interview day
