Submit AMCAS w/out MCAT score?

Hi, im taking the MCAT Aug 5, but I pretty much have everything done for the AMCAS app beside my scores. Should I submit the AMCAS before the MCAT score, maybe it will help verify my grades sooner? Anyone have any thoughts?

Also, I did research in a lab for credits in the botany department, would that be consider as (biology- botany) BCMP? I produced an honor thesis as a result of the research.

I don't know the answer to your research question, but yes apply as soon as possible. You are already going to be really late with your application so you don't want to be any later than early september when you receive your mcat score.
