Random question, but I keep finding reasons to edit my PS but I want to just go ahead and send out my application. I know that you can do this with LOR but I didn't know if it mattered with other documents like the personal statement. Thanks

Seems to me like your PS is kind of important. Not having a LOR is understandable because it's partially out of your control. That doesn't apply to your PS.

The personal statement is an extremely important part of the application. It's your one chance to speak to the admissions committees and show them who you are and your motivations for entering medicine outside of your usual extracurricular activities. Why would you not utilize such a thing?

......Also, not to mention, if an admissions committee saw an application without a personal statement, I doubt they'd look at it seriously. The application is incomplete without one I'd say.

To actually answer your question: You can add a personal statement after submission, no problem. That said, who knows if anyone will read your application without one.
