I hired a consultant to review my experiences and personal statement, they said I need to work on them. However I want to get verified. Can I edit my personal statement and experiences section after submitting for verification?

My understanding is that you will not be able to edit these sections once you submit your application for verification.

Nope

No, you cannot edit your personal statement or experiences after submission.

Just logged in AACOMAS. Just to clarify, they do allow you to add an experience after submission.
They allow new entries, no deleting or modifying of previous entries. I added a new job and publication < 7 days ago and I was verified long ago.

But do those changes get pushed to schools you have already submitted to? Or, are they only seen by schools you submit to after you make the update on AACOMAS? You might have to manually contact schools and ask them to add a new experience to your file (if you indeed feel the experience is worthy of an update).

Schools continue to receive new apps and review apps continually. You should be sure your app is perfect the first time. Don't expect a school to want to check and recheck your app as you continue to add information. Just not reasonable.

For the pub, since I am first-author, I e-mailed each school and everything was added to my file. One of the counselors did mention in their e-mail that I can update AACOMAS and each school will get notified (I did this too). But for something super important like a first-author pub, definitely e-mail too.
