Submitting secondaries

I submitted my AMCAS app on June 24 so it'll take around a month to verify. I received an email invitation to do my secondary for GWU. I read on other threads that you should wait until you're verified so you're "listening to instructions" but does the same apply if I submit the secondary after I've received an email to do it?
I didn't start a secondary app on my own, I got the email to do it so can I submit before my primary is verified?

It's only could be potentially an issue if you submit it before you get an email with the link to submit the secondary.

Okay yeah I assumed that if they invite you to do the application they're fine with you submitting before primary verification.

It says on the instruction page when you go to the secondary (for GWU) that you're welcome to submit before you're verified, just that they won't look at it until you are.
