submitting without summer school grades

Hey guys

I am taking a retaking a prereq course in the summer now and my grade for it wont be on my transcript till Aug 26th. I want to send in my app sooner though. Is there anyway to update the transcript with only 1 grade? Should I send in my original transcript w/o this summer course and then update it later with the summer grade. is that even possible? or am i going to have to wait till aug 26th, cause i don't want them to calculate my GPA without it...

last year, there was only one timeframe to update your app with new grades, and I believe it was mid december to mid january.

Optomcas said they would put it my app on hold till they receive my summer grades. BUt whats the point in that?

Okay, honestly speaking, you won't be doomed if you're app doesn't go in before September or something, trust me. If you're grades are good and this mark will make it look even better, then just wait, finish the course then send your transcript in...if you really want to get that app in, then just add your course in to Optomcas when it opens again (sometime mid Dec to mid Jan)...honestly, if all your other stuff is fine, they won't really care as long as your pre-req grade meets the min requirements (usually a C or higher) and when u do send it in, you can show ur still "completing" the pre-req, so schools know to wait for your grade in that course if they are overly concerned about it
