sucking at ochem

ok I suck at ochem. other than destroyer and kaplan book, did any one use something that helped them significantly with ochem. please let me know.

If you can afford it, I suggest you get access to kaplans online material. They have a lot of questions with explanations which I found very helpful. Also, if you have problems with some fundamental concepts of ochem then you need to read a textbook.

hahah KAPLAN online ochem section i think is alright its not the best and their explanations are horrible, they give you scenarios for 1 thing but i gaurantee if they change the question up just a lil bit you wont be able to answer it thats how bad their explanations are....

I suggest destroyer, awesome awesome book and if you get down the road maps and do destroyer twice through youll be good.

I was HORRIBLE at ochem, i spent 1 day, just 1 day (studying for like 12 hours just destroyer ochem) memorized the road maps and did desroyer once through for ochem then went on the achiever ochem and absolutely killed it, got like 25's on every ochem achiever test.

I am telling you i was really really bad at ochem, didnt know anything at all...desroyer is key, invest 150 bucks and you will not be disappointed trust me

I second that thought. A textbook can be an invaluable tool when studying sections of the DAT especially if you are particularly weak in a particular area.

Destroyer is definetly worth the money. The randomness of the questions, the explainations and the roadmaps are outstanding. Plus, if you have some serious misunderstanding with it you can email Dr. Romano and ask questions.

Destroyer road maps and destroyer road maps is most of the Ochem section on the DAT. Know the road maps!
