I think it would be better if everyone added in their Signature ( at the end of your posts) of what stage of their dental career they are at. For example, I added DDS 1992 since I graduated in 1992.
This way we can all know who we are talking to. If you are yet to decide or have not entered, you may want to say pre-dent.

Here is how to do it FYI: click on USER CP, then click on EDIT PROFILE, then add your comment in the Signature box, now click at the bottom that says submit modifications.

wow.. thisisit... you're 38 ?

I will graduate dental school on my 38th birthday..... ..

larry you are 33-34 now? What have you been doing after high-school (of course other than extracting teeth without a license 😀 )

ok... first 12 years of my life in third world country with all kinds of dirty jobs, 2 weeks near death on South Sea (not to mention under bullet rain from coast guard ships on our first nite), 2 years in refugee camps (was treated likes dog), 3.5 years high schools,
6 yrs college with 2 degrees, few years in hospital setting jobs, few years in IT field, few years here and there owned my own business concurrently. Not that old now for dental school isn't it ? My friend graduated dental school 3 yrs ago at age 45. He is running his own dental office successfully now by himself.

not old at all. now your posts make a little bit more sense. where are you originally from larry?

wow! larryt as long as you work hard and stay within the law, this country is the greatest country in the world. You will be successful if you stick to those.

it would be a good idea but i am already paranoid enough and most people are already able to figure out who I am (which scares me enough considering anyone psycho can be reading this).... so I try not to give out such personal info as much as I can.

Ditto!

When one practices dentistry, the dentist's name and degree would be public knowledge anyway. No reason to keep that secret.

Come May, hopefully I will be able to add "DDS" to my sig. 😀

get the avatar you want, make sure it's the right size as the site requires, use the "edit options" button (next to edit profile of the sig), go to the bottom of the page and upload your avatar.
