I'm pretty much in a predicament with applying and retaking courses and all. I came to the decision to apply next year for the next application cycle to come around due to two low grades that hurt my GPA. But, with looking at TWU, I noticed that they do not require Biology anymore and I guess wouldn't take that into account. One of the low grades I had were in Biology II and the other in Chem II. Those hurt my GPA a lot, but with one of the grades not being taken into account and me retaking Chem II over one of the next two semesters, I somewhat gave insight into applying anyways to give it a shot. I know there are other factors that play a role in acceptances, but in regards to GPA, I know I can state that my GPA doesn't reflect my academic capabilities and that I can say that I will be retaking the course.
Thus, I'm trying to decide if I should try to apply. I'm grinding on GRE material so far, and still getting in hours for observations and such.
Do you guys have any suggestions or insight or anyone that can relate? I would hate to wait a year because that just is a while and it'll be difficult to get in the mindset of applying later.
Thanks guys.
