Hey Guys....

If you have to chose a dermatopathology book, which one you would buy and why?🙄
Some docs say Mckee or Lever, 'cos you're going to buy a book for a live, not just for residency, while others say unleast you want to be a dermatopathologist chose Mckee/Lever, otherwise, buy Weedon.
Recently I discover Barnhill Textbook for derm, and I liked it, the charts, info distribution, but I wonder if it is complete enough for a good trainning, also saw Rapini, and I think is good too, but not sure 😕

Thanks in advance!

Are you a medical student? If so, then don't buy a book now and wait until you're a resident so that you can use your book fund.

Most residents who were not going into dermpath bought Rapini; same goes for the dermatology residents. As for McKee/Weedon/Barnhill/the other biggies, even though I was going into dermpath I'm holding off on actually buying these until I'm in practice. I think there's a new McKee coming out soon..? The reason I held off is that everywhere I've been, it's been part of the resident/fellow/office library. When it comes down to buying one, I'm a McKee fan; although the Weedon is practical because it's only one volume.

Yes, that's true, Mckee has a lot of info, but I'd like to buy one, because I like to make annotations, underline text,..... and I cannot do that on library books.🙁
