Hi guys. I'm currently a freshmen in college and just started volunteering at a local hospital doing clerical work. I want to know what kind of job experience/EC's/Research med schools are looking for. I am completely new at this so I would like some input on how to build my resume. All suggestions are welcomed. On a side note, is it bad to ask the same recommender to send his/her recommendation to multiple summer internship applications?

No "easy" way. you just go ahead find the opportunities in your area of the ECs you are interested in and do them. Sorry, but this is it.

Btw, even though everyone here seems like Superman (or Wonderwoman?), many of them have went to professional school/med school and have had plenty of time to do amazing ECs with global reach.
