I have not. I believe you sent the form, but at this point since I "rage quit" my program. That's why I plan on spreading awareness on SDN so that students are aware of this. But I guess an email could not hurt at this point.
Well, the school has a policy that says if you fail 2 classes over the course of 1 year- they reserve the right to make the person repeat the year. So I had already failed one course (which I will admit was my fault-however it would have fit in my schedule P2 year-if I had been allowed to progress). However, after explaining my case to the academic committee and the dean- I thought this rotation would not count as a true failure since I was only there for 2 days and the preceptor's reasoning was subjective and highly flawed. But the school chose to be a d*cks about this and they basically said, "preceptor had a right to fail/grade students however they choose." Plus, HPU pharmacy staff do not like students coming in & arguing. If I had been allowed to make up the rotation in a different block then I would have stayed. But I left due to the lack of support I received.
Right!!!! I have heard stories the pharmacy job market is very saturated and even due to COVID many retail pharmacies are experiencing "hiring freezes" so maybe in hindsight, this may have worked out for the best. But at the same time, the school should not take $60k from students just to fail them for the whole year. This is considered educational malpractice and even though the school is non-accredited, they still have a duty and obligation to prepare students for the real world. Failing a student without a fair assessment or warning is grounds for suing the faculty, IPPE coordinator and the preceptor. I HAVE NEVER F**KING PAID FOR A CLASS AND FAILED AFTER THE SECOND DAY!!! THOSE BAS****DS DESERVE TO ROT IN HELL FOR DERAILING MY EDUCATION!
So, it wasn't an APPE rotation? You just completed one year and then went on the IPPE and failed that?
Yes. Even though the school could have been more flexible-they chose to be d**cks about this. APPEs are usually done 4th year-I believe. IPPEs are done on P1-P3 years.
I would've totally loved to sue those A**HOLES. AGAIN THOSE SOB'S CAN ROT IN HELL FOR THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA THEY CAUSED ME. However, unfortunately with lawyer expenses, fees, etc it's too expensive for me. One lawyer I contacted agreed to take my case but in return I would've had to pay him $300/hr. Plus, HPU could easily fabricate their own **** just to f**k with me. But I do appreciate your support and sympathy 🙂
Like I said before in my previous message, it was too expensive. OTHERWISE THOSE B*****DS WOULD BE ROTTING IN HELL. ESPECIALLY THAT IPPE COORDINATOR AND THE TWO FACED B**CH OF A PRECEPTOR. I thought all pharmacists were supposed to be caring, empathetic people-but boy, was I wrong. I get the impression my preceptor had some sort of mental disorder b/c for the preceptor to assume the worst. BUT LOOTING $60K IS AN INHUMANE, HEINOUS CRIME.
You don't think warnings were given through PM instead of here for all of us to see?
