Summer after highschool activities on application?

Hi everyone. I know that highschool activities aren't added to your application, but is it ok if we add summer before freshman year of college activities on our application? Like if we volunteered at a dental clinic or something

Depends on who you ask, but I'd say no.

Yes, I volunteered in a hospital for the entire summer after I graduated from HS because my premedical advisor said anything after high school graduation can be put on your application. During my interviews, they didn't even bring up that I was right out of high school volunteering.

I think the best thing you could do is ask individual schools if you aren't sure.
