Does anyone recommend studying over the summer? If so, how should I even start? My curriculum was a traditional curriculum no path yet.

If anyone did study the summer between MS1 and MS2 - was it worth it?

I did decent this year, but I feel like I forgot a lot!

Thanks, sorry if this has been brought up before!

Depends on how motivated you are, but it may not be worth it since most of the material is covered in 2nd year.

However, if you have free time and feel the need, read through First Aid, but only the sections that cover your 1st year material. It will do no good to go ahead to path, pharm, etc. You might also consider BRS phys.

Whatever you do, enjoy your summer.

You can do some light reading to consolidate the most important things covered so far in your coursework, which I would guess is mainly physio and biochem.

No! Don't study and enjoy yourself! That will probably help you more than anything to be fresh and ready to go for all of 2nd and 3rd year.

BREAK gets BORING after 2-3 weeks unless you are taking part in research or some other activities.

Traveling is not affordable for everyone.

I recommend reading mix of what you learned in first year and some other books such as literature/novel books written by doctors or some other person.

Maybe work on self-improvement.

If anything review physiology (BRS), which is at least useful during MS2. The rest is useless until Step 1 and would all be forgotten by September.
