Hello everyone. I go to a regular 4-year university during the school year but am planning on taking some courses (no pre-reqs) over the summer. Will I be required to send transcripts from this community college when I apply? Thanks!

yes.

actually,

It kinda depends. If those courses are not pre-reqs and are not being used by you as transfer credits toward a degree at your 4-year university, then you could leave them off your AADSAS and not bother sending the transcripts.

For example, let's say a person just for fun decided to take an art class on painting at a community college during the summer, and they were a business major and did not need the class for their degree at their 4-year university. They also never planned to transfer the credit so there are no transfer credits appearing on the 4-year university transcript. Also, the person doesn't care that they got an A in the class cause it would not significantly affect their AADSAS non-science GPA or overall GPA. In this case, the person could leave going to the community college off of their AADSAS and also no bother sending the transcript. AADSAS and your school would never know the difference.

In all other cases...if you transfer the credits, if you use the classes to get your degree requirements, etc. you would need to send the transcript.
