Summer internships

I have done a few summer reserach internships that were specific for sophmore-junior years. Are internships availiable for students have have earned a degree? I'm looking for something between ugrad and dental school that will help out my cash situation.

REU's or industry. There are some awesome well paid dental and medical equipment internships if you look hard enough for engineers.

Also a word of advice. If you are applying for REU's talk about your interest in research rather than dentistry. they are looking for grad school students not dental school students.

I did REU last summer, but I thought that was specifically for students still enrolled at an undergraduate institution.
