How likely am I to get a dental assistant job after my first year of dental school?

Plenty of people worked as assistants before dental school, so it isn't likely a question of ability, but more of whether it's worth it to employ you for a short period of time. It's possible if you can find someone willing to train you and only have you work for 3 months.
