I started with my own dentist and then asked him to see if he had any connections...it worked out pretty well

Also, each region will have a district dental society and you can always contact a secretary to contact multiple dental professionals all at once

Look into connections. Call up/visit clinics and tell them what you're interested in. Out of curiosity, why a job instead of volunteering? Other than the getting paid factor obviously.

I know someone who volunteers in a clinic for underserved populations and he's able to shadow and assist occasionally. I've known three people who worked at a dental office, and it was mainly reception/secretary work that lasted more than a few weeks.
