Hi,
I applied to both The University of Michigan and VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) for there pre-dental summer enrichment programs. I got accepted into both and I'm having a hard time deciding upon which one I should accept.

http://www.dent.umich.edu/mca/profileforsuccess (UMich's program.)
UMICH - In a nutshell, I'll explain essentially what both programs consist of. UMich's program is DAT based (which is an awesome thing!) being that I'm applying to dental school this summer (taking DAT - July 10th.) Also, during the program we will hear from various dentist (which is always rewarding) and will participate in clinical studies (block tooth carving, how awesome is that?)
VCU - Now, in a nutshell VCU's program is designed to feel similar to the first semester of dental school. We'll be taking Pharmacology, Microbiology (higher level I'm assuming being that I've already taken it - so should be fairly easy), and physiology. Further, we will also gain extensive lab experience, we will work with mannequins. The activities are: crown wax build up, block tooth carving, class I and II preparations, and more. We will work in the dentSim Lab and shadow dentist too. We'll also receive grades for everything + a certificate of completion.
Question: Has anyone participated in either VCU's or UMich's program? If you did, could you tell me what you liked about it - what you didn't like, etc ?
Also, if you participated in either one of the programs - did it help with your chances for admissions at either of the schools? (I'm out-of-state for both, so yea 🙂)
Thanks (& sorry if I wrote to much "mumbo-jumbo.")
