Hey guys, MS-1 here. Wanted to create a thread where someone could post volunteer/job info to help with the current pandemic over the summer. I intended to do clinical research this summer, however, the possibility of that actually happening is pretty slim in my opinion. If anyone hears of summer programs wanting medical students for outbreak help, please post it here. At my school, we are working with the health department at a drive-thru swabbing site for testing. Yes we are on the front lines, in full PPE, swabbing potential COVID-19 patients. I love this kind of work, just not sure it will continue at my home institution all summer. In Boston (and surrounding towns), there is a MRC (Medical Reserve Corps) you can join and subsequently volunteer with for various site positions. They haven't announced what those are yet, but there have been a few emails gearing up towards requests for deployment.
