I'm looking for summer program for medical students in ophthalmology field, no matter if research or clinic.I study medicine in Italy and I'd like to do a summer experience in an english or french speaking country next year (2009) when I'll be finishing the 5th (out of 6) year.
Please tell me if you know something about that.

Stanford University has a Bay Area Ophthalmology Course you might find of help

your best bet is to contact ophtho departments individually in america. figure out where you want to spend 1-2 months, and see if they'll take international med students. Many programs offer research/clerkships for visiting medical students (not sure about international though).
